ELVEES RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER, STATE UNITARY ENTERPRISE, WAS ESTABLISHED ON THE BASIS OF ELAS SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION ASSOCIATION
ELAS Scientific Production Association developed space electronic products, such as on-board computers for spacecraft control systems (Salut). MIR Space Station and many satellites and were equipped with Salut computing systems.
ELAS was the first in the USSR to develop a microprocessor (not single-chip) with a proprietary architecture and a command system.
Multicore processors are single-chip programmable multiprocessor SoCs based on IP-core library of MULTICORE design platform developed by ELVEES RnD Center, SUE.
ORWELL 2K: VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM WITH COMPUTER VISION
Orwell 2k video surveillance system with computer vision automatically detects and classifies targets and situations, and transmits video data to the operator in the real-time mode.
BIOMETRIC ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
ELVEES RnD Center, SUE, developed a biometric access control system with identification by fingerprint, proximity card or face.
THE CONCEPT OF VIRTUAL PERIMETER
ELVEES RnD Center, SUE, was the first in Russia to apply the concept of the virtual perimeter by creating a radar station for perimeter and territory guarding with the radiation level of a mobile phone. One radar was enough to guard a territory of 7 sq.km.
THE FIRST RUSSIAN PROCESSOR WITH SOFTWARE DEFINABLE RADIO
IC is an implementation of the SDR (Software Definable Radio) concept. It is a 4-channel digital receiver that can function as a DDC (digital down converter) and perform digital heterodyne mixing, decimation and signal filtering.
THE FIRST RUSSIAN PROCESSOR WITH GLONASS/GPS NAVIGATION
ELVEES RnD Center, SUE, and ANGSTREM-T, JSC, in cooperation with NELS, Ltd., and Moscow State Aviation Institute developed and manufactured several samples of the first in Russia single-chip communication processor with embedded 48-channel GLONASS/ GPS navigation. The processor started the Navicom line.

The company won the Golden Chip Prize for the development of Multibort chipset.
PROVIDING SECURITY AT OLYMPIC OBJECTS
High-tech security systems produced by ELVEES RnD Center, JSC, provided security at large Olympic objects during the Winter Games in Sochi.
SALUT MODULES WERE LAUNCHED TO THE MARKET
ELVEES RnD Center, JSC, introduced a solution allowing fast commercial implementation of complex processors. The time to market for products containing ELVEES chips decreased from 3-4 years to 6-18 months.

ELVEES RND CENTER, JSC, INTRODUCED THE FIRST LOW-POWER PROCESSOR FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS IN RUSSIA
Scythian SoC can be used to build mobile and embedded smart systems for telecommunication, navigation and multimedia applications, multisensory signal processing, robotic systems and many more applications.
Scythian processor features low power consumption (3-5 W) and therefore can be applied in tablet PCs.
ELVEES Research and Development Center, JSC, (ELVEES RnD Center, JSC) is one of the leading IC design centers in Russia.
The company was established in March, 1990, as a branch of ELAS scientific production association that performed cutting-edge developments in the field of space electronics. The products ranged from proprietary CAE systems to fully featured hardware-software onboard control systems and data processing systems of Salut line that operated on board of MIR Space Station. The company developed the first CMOS VLSI microprocessor chipset in the USSR in 1974. In total, the company developed more than 400 microcircuits.

2014 — the first prize in the nomination of “The best electronic component in 2013-2014” for the development of a radiation-hard library for 180 nm process;
2013 — the first prize in the nomination of “For the contribution to the development of Russian electronics” for the development of a static RAM IC with unique parameters of radiation hardness for CMOS technology;
2010 — the first prize in the nomination of “The best electronic component in 2009-2010” for the development of Multibort chipset for airspace and other airborne applications.
